WHEN GREAT MINDS MEET

The University of Jos Department of Accountancy class of 1997 had a get together at Dreams resort in Abuja on Friday 3rd of December 2021.

It was a gathering of brilliant minds. Professor Ekoja and Dr Donald honoured class 97 with their presence.

It was a leisurely dinner with much chit-chat and laughter.

They went down memory lane, while expressing homogeneous

views. They fondly recollected when Professor Ekoja and Dr Donald were lecturers at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Accountancy, University of Jos.

The class of 97 reiterated that they can now see that, the relationship between a student and a lecturer is analogous to that of a father and a child. A father's paramount role is the impacting of knowledge and trying to ensure that their child attains a better future.

They eulogized the lecturers and expressed profound gratitude for their mentoring.

  1. It was indeed a funfilled atmosphere, reminiscent of our school days.
I was excited to have met my lecturers and some of my classmates whom I haven't seen for the past 23 years.
Kudos to Ifeoma Iwugo(nee Enujiugha) and team for making the hangout worthwhile, looking forward to more reunions ahead.
