Yaba collapse building: Death toll rises to five.
An additional body was on Sunday, recovered from the rubbles of the three-storey building that collapsed in Yaba area of Lagos, bringing the total casualty figure to five.
Recall that a three storey building on Saturday collapsed at No. 16, Akanbi Crescent, off Adesina Street, Harvey, Sabo, Yaba area of Lagos, trapping five persons.

ReplyDeleteGovernment needs to do more with regulations on structures. Similarly, Nigerians need to be conscious of their responsibility to check status of these structures before deciding to live in them. This should not be allowed to continue unabated.
ReplyDeleteCome back here next 4 months the landowner has erected another shiny building with the inscription “Jesus house” or “The Lord is my Shepherd House” 🤣🤣. As long as nothing is stopping them from making that money!!

ReplyDeleteWhen you give a developer 2m nairas to build 6 storey building for you 😂. Oga developer will pocket 1m and give you 1m worth of house. Sad mehh!!! Lots of weak hollow structures in Lagos!!! God help us ooo!!!
