Twitter user by the name Sniper Ray, insinuated that Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Shine Ya Eye housemate, Maria Benjamin, got punched in the eye by her boyfriend Kelvin.

Sniper Ray:

"Did kelvin ponch you today? How's the black eye he gave you?"

To which Maria replied:

"The word you tried to type is“punch” And if there’s nothing you know about me let me school you,the day a man touches me in that manner is the day I go to jail for murder,now run back to your parents and get them to love you differently,so you can have peace within! Stay blessed."


Well, Maria has said her piece.

New Super Eagles Head Coach Appointed

  The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed a new Super Eagles coach.  Portuguese manager Jose Peseiro as the new head coach of the Super Eagles. The NFF endorsed a proposal by its Technical and Development sub-committee for the appointment of the new coach. His appointment follows the sacking of Gernot Rohr earlier this December, 2021. Nevertheless, the interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen will be in charge of the three-time African champions for the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon,  while coach Peseiro will serve as an observer. This decision was made known by the executive committee of the NFF. The NFF says the tournament will be a good avenue for Peseiro to launch a working relationship with Eguavoen, who will revert to his role as technical director of the NFF after the AFCON. Groups Thronged Turban Occasion To Mobilise Support For Amaechi For President In 2023

Amaechi for President banners flood Daura. The Emir of Daura, HRH Faruk Umar Faruk, yesterday, in Daura, Katsina State prayed for the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, whom he described as a goal getter, to attain a higher office. The revered Emir prayed the prayer while honoring Amaechi with the title  of ‘Dan Amanar Daura’,  meaning the trusted son of Daura. The occasion  was attended by eminent people from across Nigeria and those campaigning for the Minister as President ahead of the 2023 polls who flooded the town with ‘Amaechi for President’ banners.
