Buhari To Sign Electoral Bill In A Matter Of Hours – Femi Adesina.


This information was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, this Tuesday during an interview on Sunrise Daily.

“He (Buhari) will sign it (the bill) any moment from now,” he said while appearing as a guest on the Channels Television breakfast programme. “It could be today, it could be tomorrow, it could be anytime, but within the 30 days.

"The bill could be signed today; it could be signed tomorrow. In a matter of hours, not days. Hours could be 24 hours, it could be 48 hours; not days, not weeks.”

Football lovers are in for a cruise as organizers of the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup in Qatar have chartered another cruise ship to accommodate Football World Cup 2022 guests. Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex have donated an undisclosed sum to charities working in Nigeria via their Foundation, the Archewell Foundation. The amount donated (unspecified) is for victims devastated by the flood ravishing parts of Nigeria. About 1.3 million people have been displaced by the floods. The flooding has killed over 600 people and injuring more than 2,400. According to Sky News, in a press release, a Spotify representative confirmed the Archewell Foundation had made donations to both UNICEF and Save the Children. While Nigeria typically experiences seasonal flooding, the floods are the worst the country has seen since the 2012 major flood which displaced more than 2.1 million people. The spokesperson said the donations, of an undisclosed amount, would “help provide relief following devastating floods wreaking havoc in Nigeria”.
