Nigerian Federal Lawmaker, Accused Of Forging BSc, Master’s Degrees By The Anti-corruption Agency, ICPC.

The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) has accused a member of the House of Representatives, Mohammed Garba Gololo (Gamawa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State), of forging his first and second degrees’ certificates. The commission said both certificates were doctored. 

In an eight-count charge it filed at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the commission said Garba-Gololo forged his BSc and Masters degrees.

Gololo claimed to have attended the Lagos State University (LASU), where he purportedly obtained both certificates.

The ICPC alleged, in the charge marked: CR/012/2022, the Garba-Gololo presented forged Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with second class honours (upper division) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree to the Independent National electoral Commission (INEC) to contest election.

Gololo to be arraigned April 11, 2022.
