In Today's article, we meet Angela Odidi, a mother who sacrificed her life's ambition of becoming a nurse, to give her all to her children. This is indeed a noble sacrifice.


Her intelligence, she embedded in her children, her knowledge she implanted, her wit and charisma she got rooted in them.

Odidi, instilled in them, her strength and discipline. She thought them to be compassionate and empathetic towards everyone. Of course, her beauty, nature, entrenched in them.


A lot of women all around the world fall into similar situations, they give away their life's hope and childhood dreams, they step aside for others to fill these shoes.

We celebrate you, women! Queens indeed, each with her crown.

We see; we observe, we remember, we appreciate!


Angela Odidi is an avid reader and lover of books. Fluent in languages; English, Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. Good in mathematics.

Her decision and hard work paid off, she is now blessed beyond measures, with a generation of professionals, experts in various fields of life; a Professor in Pharmacy and an array of Pharmacists, a Medical Doctor, a Nurse, Accountants, Business Administrators, Doctorate In Economics, Doctorate in Physics, Doctorate in International Law and Diplomacy, Political Scientists, Computer Scientists, Educationist, Clergymen and women, a Military General, a Lawyer.

This sacrificial act of hers rubbed off on society as well, her family has impacted and is still influencing their communities positively.

    Mum is a great woman of substance. A jewel of inestimable value. A priceless mother. The best mum in the whole world. A great mother who instilled good core values in her children. An advocate of education who personally taught me Mathematics and English for common entrance examination into secondary school. A great lover of children with unparalleled love and care. A Benue High Court on Monday ordered Ayu to stop parading himself as national chairman of the PDP pending determination of the suit before it. The National Working Committee, NWC of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), acting on the order, yesterday, confirmed its Deputy National Chairman (North), Amb. Umar Illiya Damagum, as acting national chairman after Ayu, stepped aside in honor to the court order.  The PDP NWC took the decision at an emergency meeting, yesterday reports the Vanguard news. Ayu will cease to function as national chairman until the court says otherwise. Stakeholders in the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who want the National Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu, to quit the position, have succeeded, at least in the interim. The Chief of Defence Staff, Lucky Irabor, on Tuesday said those behind the Owo attack have been arrested. Irabor stated this during a meeting with editors and media executives in Abuja.
