Charles, Prince of Wales, Is King Charles III. Prince William And Kate Get New Titles

At the moment the Queen died, the throne passed immediately and without ceremony to the heir, Charles, the former Prince of Wales. He will be known as King Charles III.

There is also a new title for Charles' wife, Camilla, who becomes the Queen Consort - consort is the term used for the spouse of the monarch.

Prince William has officially been declared the new Prince of Wales as his father, the new monarch, King Charles III addresses Britons for the first time after Queen Elizabeth’s death.

In his historic address, King Charles said: "As my heir, William now assumes the Scottish titles which have meant so much to me.".

"He succeeds me as Duke of Cornwall and takes on the responsibilities for the Duchy of Cornwall which I have undertaken for more than five decades.

"Today, I am proud to create him Prince of Wales, Tywysog Cymru, the country whose title I have been so greatly privileged to bear during so much of my life and duty."

“With Catherine beside him, our new Prince and Princess of Wales will, I know, continue to inspire and lead our national conversations, helping to bring the marginal to the centre ground where vital help can be given.”

FG Advises Nigerians (Especially Students)-Don’t Travel to Northern Cyprus

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigeria Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, in a press briefing on Thursday, at the State House in Abuja. Advised Nigerians especially students not to travel to Northern Cyprus.
