Gun Men Attack Senator Ifeanyi Ubah's Convoy, Orderlies Feared Killed

Businessman, entrepreneur and currently the Senator, representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the Nigerian senate Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, was attacked by gunmen today, Sunday.

The convoy of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was attacked in Enugwu-Ukwu community in the Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State. 

Reports are that some of his aides and police escorts were killed while some were injured. 

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is also the CEO of Capital Oil, which he founded in 2001. The condition of Ubah could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report. 

Sources said the gunmen opened fire on the convoy, and police operatives in the convoy responded and about six policemen were gunned down in the shoot-out.

Nasir El-Rufai, the Governor of Kaduna State, while addressing the Arewa joint committee, in Kaduna, said that he would have arrested Mr Peter Obi in retaliation of what Peter Obi did to him when he visited the state to monitor an election.
