Walking is one of the safest and simplest strategies to enhance fitness and health, including heart health, according to research results presented at the American Heart Association’s Epidemiology, Prevention, Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Health Conference 2021. As a result, it can definitely help you live longer. If you don’t have time to walk, you can walk while doing your everyday business at home. Walking benefits the heart, lowers the risk of diabetes and cancer, among other illnesses.

2. Swimming

Swimming is a must-do if you want to live longer. Your entire body is activated, which makes it more flexible and strong. It also increases your muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness. In fact, swimming can assist you to reach your weight loss goals if you’re trying to lose weight. Overall, swimming is a full-body workout. It slows down ageing, strengthens your lungs, and heart, and may lower your chance of sudden death.

3. Aerobics

Did you know aerobic exercise offers more benefits than weight loss? Well, this kind of physical activity combines stretching with strength training. It has a large range of advantages, some of which include enhancing cognitive function, controlling blood sugar levels, and increasing heart health. According to a recent study in Neurology, regular aerobic exercise can enhance your quality of life by enhancing your mental health. All it takes to reap these benefits is a daily aerobic exercise regimen of 25-30 minutes.

4. Running

Run for your life, indeed you should! A study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that any amount of running lowers the risk of death from heart disease and all cancers. According to Kaur, “Running can enhance blood circulation, help build strong bones, strengthen muscles, and helps maintain a healthy weight, boosting longevity.”

5. Bicycling

According to research recently published in the journal Sports Medicine, those who regularly travel on cycle to work or school enjoy longer, healthier lives. You can simply develop the habit of cycling if you also desire to live a longer life. It is a great way to reduce body fat, decrease weight, and raise your level of fitness as a whole. In fact, cycling can support the immune system’s defences against respiratory infections like COVID-19.

IELTS: UK Home Office reacts to Nigerians’ call to skip English proficiency test. WITH over 60,000 signatures on a petition on change.org to stop foreign universities from requesting English proficiency tests from Nigerians, the UK Home Office says changes will not be implemented soon.
