Gbajabiamila lists reasons FG won’t pay ASUU fully.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has indicated that the Federal Government may not fully pay university lecturers for the eighth months that the Academic Staff Union of Universities was on strike.

Gbajabiamila, in a statement issued on Monday, said the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), was being awaited to approved the proposal of “partial” payment presented to him.

The founder of Atiku 100 percent, Mr. Tanimu Kazeem has said that the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP does not need the governor of Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom to win Benue State come 2023.

Kazeem who was reacting to Ortom’s statement when he said “to hell with Atiku” noted that Atiku will win in Benue state without Ortom support.

Organ Harvesting: UK Court Moves Ekweremadu’s Trial To Jan 31.

No respite yet for the embattled former deputy president of the Nigerian Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, over his trial on alleged organ harvesting case as the Central Criminal Court in London, the United Kingdom, yesterday moved the trial date from May, 2023 to January 31, 2023.

According to Channels TV, the Old Bailey agreed that arguments would be heard on the 16th or 19th of December 2022 before the commencement of the trial in January.

Abuja-Kaduna rail services resume November – Official

Train services on the route were suspended after terrorists attacked a Kaduna-bound train and abducted scores of passengers.

The Federal Government, on Monday, announced that Kaduna-Abuja rail services will resume operations this month.

The Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Sambo, told journalists while presenting his ministry’s scorecard from 2015 to 2022 at a ministerial briefing in Abuja.

In A Random Attack, A Woman Is Lit On Fire On A Toronto bus; Man Apprehended, Police Say

Dundas, Kipling Centre. A woman lays in the hospital with critical injuries, she was set ablaze on a Toronto bus in what police say was a "random" attack.  The woman in her 20's was attacked by a 35-year-old man. The woman remains in hospital with life-altering injuries, most of which are second and third-degree burns, media relations officer Toronto police Const. Alex Li told reporters outside Kipling station, where the incident took place. The suspect has been arrested with charges pending, police say. Toronto police were called to the Kipling Avenue and Dundas Street West area around 12:30 p.m. for reports of a woman being assaulted. Police say a man poured a liquid substance on the woman and ignited it, causing a fire. The woman was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital. There's no word on her current condition. It's unknown what motivated the attack, but Li says there was some sort of interaction between the man and woman before it happened. Police continue to invest...

About two years ago, one Nigerian government official whom I know visited the United Kingdom.                                    Trees Beautifully Grown In Nigeria  It was that peak period of covid crisis, where many countries had various Covid containment regulations to help reduce the spread.  On the day he was to return to Nigeria, I was one of those who escorted him to the Airport.  When we got to the Airport, we realised that he was supposed to have a Covid test done, and the result uploaded to Nigerian Govt Portal.
