Peter Obi, Conferred With An Honorary Citizen Of Dallas

Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, was conferred with the honorary citizenship of Dallas, the United States by the Mayor of Dallas, Eric Johnson on Tuesday.

Obi revealed the conferment through his verified Twitter handle.

He tweeted, “Today in Dallas Texas, United States, I met with the Mayor of Dallas and his team.

“I had the privilege of being conferred with the honorary citizenship of Dallas.”

The mayor, had the following to say to Peter Obi in respect to the honour bestowed on him by the United States;

“Without a piece of doubt, with this conferment, you shall uphold a place of high esteem in the minds and hearts of the people of this great city (Dallas). Congratulations!”

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, says, the British government should remove Nigeria and other countries from its red list.
