The United States Embassy issued warning on the likelihood of a terror attack in Abuja the Nation's capital, the British High Commission issued its own advisory to the staff on movement while also announcing reduced services. Mrs Pelosi was in Washington, and not at the San Francisco residence, when the incident took place on Friday morning. Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex have donated an undisclosed sum to charities working in Nigeria via their Foundation, the Archewell Foundation. The amount donated (unspecified) is for victims devastated by the flood ravishing parts of Nigeria. About 1.3 million people have been displaced by the floods. The flooding has killed over 600 people and injuring more than 2,400. According to Sky News, in a press release, a Spotify representative confirmed the Archewell Foundation had made donations to both UNICEF and Save the Children. While Nigeria typically experiences seasonal flooding, the floods are the worst the country has seen since the 2012 major flood which displaced more than 2.1 million people. The United State Government has authorized the evacuation of its government employees and their families from Nigeria over potential terrorist attacks. The US State Department announced the approval of the evacuation in its updated Nigeria travel advisory on Tuesday evening. The Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele has said the apex bank will redesign three naira notes, the notes are N200, N500, N1000 notes respectively. The new notes will take effect by December 15, 2022. Emefiele, said an approval has been received by the bank from President Mohammadu Buhari to redesign the notes. He said the decision would impact the value of the naira positively. "Therefore, bank charges for cash deposit are hereby suspended with immediate effect.” He further disclosed that over 80 per cent of the total cash in circulation was outside the banking system. “N2.73 trillion out of N3.23 trn exists outside the commercial bank,” he added.

Rishi Sunak has won the race to be the next prime minister. Mr Sunak is the youngest person elected as prime minister for more than 200 years. Apostle Johnson Suleman, President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, after the brutal attack on his convoy on Friday by gunmen, which left seven persons dead, has slammed the police for killing the arrested prime suspect involved in the vicious attack on his convoy. Trump subpoena: Former President Donald Trump has been issued a legal summons by the congressional panel investigating last year's Capitol riot.  Trump's lawyers were issued a letter by the nine-member panel, saying he must testify, either at the Capitol or by videoconference, “beginning on or about” Nov. 14 and continuing for multiple days if necessary. Earlier today, Friday, gunmen opened fire on Apostle Johnson Suleman's convoy and allegedly killed seven persons including three policemen. The incident occurred along the Benin Auchi Road, Edo State. Three of his police orderlies and four other yet-to-be-identified persons were allegedly killed.  Suleman returned from a foreign trip and was heading to a destination in Edo State when the gunmen attacked his convoy around the Auchi area of the state. Suleman’s lawyer, Samuel Amune, confirmed the attack. He said, “He was returning from a journey and he had almost gotten on the shores of Auchi when some assassins attacked him. Three of his police orderlies, among others died. He travelled before and just finished a programme in Tanzania day before yesterday. “He was returning to Auchi when the gunmen attacked him along Sabingida down to Warake area, and Auchi shares direct boundary with Warake. So, he had passed Warake and was entering the boundaries of Auchi when the attack happened.

Football lovers are in for a cruise as organizers of the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup in Qatar have chartered another cruise ship to accommodate Football World Cup 2022 guests. The cruise ships will provide more than 1000 rooms to the fans coming to attend the month-long event. Some of the youths were carrying dummy coffins as they stage EndSARS memorial walk along the Lekki tollgate. Nigeria music star, rapper Falz and prolific comedian Mr Macaroni were among the youths.                                             Falz The peace walk was however interrupted by policemen who fired tear gas to disperse the gathering. EndSARS - Two years ago, on October 20, 2020, youths converged at the Lekki Toll Gate calling for an end to police brutality. The Lekki Toll Gate shooting occurred, when soldiers opened fire on the End SARS protesters.
