Kizz Daniel Apologises-Promises Free Show On Friday, Non Of This Was Intentional

Kizz Daniel
Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel, has apologised for failing to perform at a show in Tanzania on Sunday.

The irate fans were seen trashing the venue of the show in anger at the non-appearance of the singer.

On Monday, Kizz Daniel was arrested in Dar es Salaam for failing to perform at the show.

At a press conference on Tuesday night streamed on the show promoter’s Instagram page, #str8upvibes_, the ‘Buga’ crooner explained his side of the story, apologised and promised a free show for Friday.

Kizz said, “This Friday, a free show, by the way, I will be partnering with Straight Up Vibes to make that happen.

“I must apologize to the fans. None of this was intentional.”

The organisers of the Summer Amplified Show in Tanzania arrested the Buga hitmaker after he failed to perform at a well-publicised show on Sunday night.

Steven Uwa, the show promoter responsible for Kizz Daniel’s Tanzania show, in an interview session with radio personality Daddy Freeze, Mr Uwa said that Kizz Daniel opted out of the show because the airline he flew with did not bring all his baggage.

Mr Uwa, revealed that Kizz Daniel was booked for $60,000.

“He only said the airline didn’t bring his bag; that was why he couldn’t perform because his gold chain was not there.

“He had one gold chain on his neck, but he wanted everything. So he said just because the airline didn’t bring one of his bags, he cannot perform without his gold chain.”

The show was a premium event, nothing less than $300,000 was spent on the show. Hinted Mr Uwa.

“A regular table for that show was sold for $5,000 and the highest table was sold for 10,000 dollars,” Mr Uwa, a Tanzanian-based Nigerian businessman, said.

Mr Uwa disclosed that the show promoter through whom he booked Kizz Daniel, Mr Paul O, also tried to intervene from the United States.

“Paul O cried all through the night for Kizz Daniel to perform but refused,” Mr Uwa added.

Mr Uwa was worried his reputation as a show organiser in Tanzania and Africa is being tarnished.
