I Was Never Served Divorce Papers – Blossom Chukwujekwu’s Ex-Wife Breaks Silence.

Maureen Esisi,  who was married to Nollywood actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu, has said that the divorce proceedings between herself and the actor are not final.

On Tuesday while engaging in a Q & A session with fans via her Instagram page, Esisi made this known.

She was asked, “When did you do your divorce? Because last time we asked, you said it was not yet done.”

To this, she answered, “Last I checked, I signed NO divorce papers.”

A further probe by another follower, who was curious to know why she refused to sign the divorce papers if she was served.

“Wasn’t served any,” she simply replied.

Furthermore, as the questions trickle down during the question and answer session, Maureen disclosed that deceit was the cause of her broken marriage with the actor.

She responded to a fan who wanted to know why she agreed to the separation and noted that when she wanted to end things, Blossom did not agree and when he finally wanted to also disentangle from the relationship, she agreed.

She dropped this revelation a few days after the actor tied the knot with his new wife, Winifred Akhuemokhan.

Okagbare was provisionally suspended for testing positive for human growth hormone in July 2021, just hours before her 100m semifinals at Tokyo Olympics. She was later handed a 10-year ban by the world anti-doping agency (WADA). Before then, Okagbare was under investigation by an American agency for some other misdemeanours. The U.S. Federal authorities had searched Okagbare’s cellphone on her return to the country from the Tokyo Olympics and found she had frequently communicated with Eric Lira, a kinesiologist and naturopathic doctor, who was said to have brought ‘misbranded’ versions of the drugs to the U.S. from Central and South America before distributing them to athletes. But a source close to World Athletics told The Guardian yesterday that the U.S. has dropped ‘all charges’ against Oka...
