Seun Kuti, Has Been Arrested By The Nigerian Police Force

Afro beat musician, Seun Kuti, has been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force. The singer, was taken into custody after he turned himself in at the Lagos State Command of NPF (CID Div).

The singer was placed on handcuff and taken to SCIID in Panti for interrogation on Monday.

The Nigeria Police Force has described the action of popular Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti against a police officer as evil and criminal.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Olumuyiwa Adejobi on Monday took to social media and in a tweet, he further called out Seun for his actions.

He wrote, “Assault: Seun Kuti is under interrogation at the State CID Panti. We speak and act against attacks and assaults on Police officers, it’s evil and criminal”. 

Before his arrest the Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Usman Alkali Baba, had ordered Kuti’s arrest following his altercation with a police officer on the 3rd Mainland bridge a few days ago.

FG Advises Nigerians (Especially Students)-Don’t Travel to Northern Cyprus

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigeria Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, in a press briefing on Thursday, at the State House in Abuja. Advised Nigerians especially students not to travel to Northern Cyprus.
