Nigerian stand up comedian AY Makun and his wife, Mabel, welcome a second child after 13 years

Ayo Makun popularly known as 'AY' is a very successful comedian and actor.

The excited father announced the good news on his Instagram page on Tuesday.

AY’s new baby, named Ayomide, came into the family 13 years after they had their first child, Michelle.

The couple, got married November 2008, they a beautiful 13-year-old daughter, Michelle, as their first child.

Making public the good news, AY said, “Our prayers in the last 13 years have been answered. Ayomide, thank you formaking @realmabelmakun and I, Mummy and Daddy again.

“Thank you for making Michelle a big sister. Thanks to everyone who kept us in their prayers and never stopped feeding us with positive vibes".

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

Ed Sheeran Reacts To Claims He Turned Down Invitation To The Coronation Concert Of King Charles

The Coronation of King Charles will take place on May 6. The Metro UK quoted the spokesperson of the Perfect singer as saying, neither Ed nor his team has even been ‘approached’ about a possible performance at coronation concert. The Daily Mail had reported the monarch had selected the pair personally and was 'very keen' for them to play. Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace said twelve newly commissioned pieces of music will play at the coronation of Britain's King Charles at Westminster Abbey, including Greek Orthodox music, with the 18th century "Zadok the Priest" also to be featured.

National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS Vows To Extend Protest

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, yesterday halted activities at the Murtala Muhammad Airport, Ikeja, in protest against the continued strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, which has kept students at home for over seven months. The students’ body also vowed to extend the protest to the Apapa Wharf and Tin Can Island ports and the Third Mainland Bridge today. On February 14, 2022, ASUU commenced a strike action to protest the Federal Government’s failure to meet the demands of its members.  Amongst which is the non fulfillment by the Federal Government of an agreement it signed with the government in 2009 on Earned Allowances and replacement of Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, IPPIS, and University Transparency and Accountability Solution, UTAS.
