Ladies and gentlemen, please meet Dr Tiwa Savage!

Afrobeat, top Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has been recognised by the international institution, Kent University. She was given an honorary degree to celebrate her time and achievements in the music industry.

According to the University of Kent, Tiwa honorary doctorate degree is “in recognition of her inspirational and international career in music.”

Tiwa Savage who completed a degree in Business Administration at the University before winning a scholarship to study Professional Music at the Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A "is overjoyed at this big feat. Who wouldn't be, ain't we all happy for her?"
