Breaking! EFCC - Rtd AIG Hakeem Odumosu Emerges Substantive Chairman

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Rtd AIG Hakeem Odumosu as the Substantive Chairman of EFCC.

The approval is however subject to his Confirmation by the Senate.

Author Salman Rushdie-Ex wife Renders Support

Padma Lakshmi, ex wife to Salman Rushdie, is supporting her ex-husband in his recovery. On Friday, the famed author, Salman Rushdie was stabbed multiple times while on stage in New York City. The "Top Chef" star tweeted Sunday that she is "relieved" Rushdie is "pulling through after Friday's nightmare."  Her tweet reads: "Worried and wordless, can finally exhale," Lakshmi also wrote in her tweet. "Now hoping for swift healing." Padma. Padma Lakshmi and Salman Rushdie were a married couple from 2004 to 2007. Rushdie, 75, has long been the subject of threats because of controversy over some of his writings, he has faced years of death threats for his 1988 novel The Satanic Verses.
