APC Sets Precondition For Submitting The expression Of Interest And Nomination Forms, For Presidential Aspirants-370 Statutory Delegates Must Sign Alongside.

The ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, has set as a precondition for submitting the expression of interest and nomination forms, for presidential aspirants.

As reported by the Punch news, the aspirants are to submit with the forms the signatures of 10 statutory delegates from each state and the Federal Capital Territory.

Aspirants are required to get the signatures of 370 statutory delegates, covering the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory. 

About 30 aspirants have so far declared interest in the coveted office on the APC platform while about 17 have obtained forms already.

Inclusive in the form is a form 18 which is a 'Letter of withdrawal' attached to the forms.

The aspirants were expected to sign the letter and submit it with their forms and other documents.

The letter, which must be signed before a commissioner for oaths/ notary public before submission, read in part, “I hereby voluntarily withdraw my candidacy from the contest. My withdrawal is in the best interest of our great party, the All Progressives Congress.”

The party in the guidelines and timetables released by its National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, fixed Tuesday as the last day for the submission of the forms.

Afua Asantewaa Wrapped in her country's flag, she thanked the crowd of supporters in the capital, Accra, for their immense support, in hopes her performance will earn her a Guinness World Record. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Wins Big In Governor Nyesom Wike's Local Government Area

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has won the Obio-Akpor, the Local Government Area of Governor Nyesom Wike in Rivers State by a landslide. Tinubu polled 80,239 votes to defeat the Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, who came a distant second with 3,829 and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who got 368 votes.
