A new study has revealed that the presidential candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has outperformed the two other major presidential candidates – Peter Obi of Labour Party and Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC – on positive ratio metrics in all the mentions from all discussions about the presidential candidates across all media platforms and fora reviewed. According to the report which adopted Artificial Intelligence tools to analyse 500,000 mentions of the candidates on both traditional and social media within a one-month period, it revealed that although Atiku Abubakar has less mentions on Twitter compared to Peter Obi, he, however, got more positive sentiments from people than the duo of Tinubu and Peter Obi. This means that people who discussed the candidates said more positive things about Atiku Abubakar than they did for Peter Obi and even expressed lesser positive sentiments about Tinubu. There was pandemonium among residents of the Kuje prison area in Abuja on Tuesday evening after explosions and gunshots were heard from the direction of the correctional centre. However, a spokesperson for the Nigerian Correctional Service, AD Umar, confirmed that gunmen had attacked the correctional centre but that normalcy had been restored after security agencies intervened. "I wish to confirm that about 2200hrs, some yet to be identified gunmen attacked the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Kuje in the Federal Capital Territory,” Umar said. “However, men of the Armed Squad of the Nigerian Correctional Service and other security agencies attached to the Custodial centre have responded and calm has been restored to the facility and the situation is under control. A 6.3-magnitude quakes strike two hours apart early Saturday, with tremors in between hit southern Iran in the early hours of Saturday, with tremors felt from both in the UAE. Tremors were felt in several areas of the UAE, including all seven emirates, according to eyewitnesses and social media users. Fresh tremors at 7.29am on Saturday.  The initial quake struck at 1.32am near Bandar Khamir at a depth of 10km, according to the UAE National Centre of Meteorology.  The second earthquake hit at 3.24am. Between the two quakes, aftershocks of 4.6 and 4.4 magnitude struck at 2.43am and 3.13am respectively. At least five people were killed and 19 injured in the quake. Most of the damage occurred in the village of Sayeh Khost, close to the epicentre. The quake hit 100 kilometres southwest of the port city of Bandar Abbas in Hormozgan province, the US Geological Survey said. Rescue teams were deployed near the epicenter, Sayeh Khosh village, which is home to around 300 people in Hormozgan prov
