Breaking: Miyyetti Allah Chairman Shot In Abuja By Bandits.

Gwagwalada Area Council of Abuja was invaded by bandits and they shot dead the chairman of the Miyyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria.

Adamu Aliyu, chairman of the Miyyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) was killed in Gwagwalada Area Council of Abuja.

The shooting took place near Daku village in Dobi ward of the council on Thursday. Aliyu was said to have been killed alongside four others 

This report according to the Daily Trust, has been reportedly confirmed by the Secretary of MACBAN, Mohammed Usman, on Sunday.

The Secretary added that three persons sustained gunshot wounds and were receiving treatment at a Hospital in Abuja. While three persons others were abducted.

He said the incident happened last Thursday, around 5 pm, when the late MACBAN chairman alongside others were retuning from Izom market in Niger state.

Usman said the bandits, who suddenly emerged from the bush and opened fire on a truck that was conveying the victims.

They were retuning from Izom market in Niger state where they went to sell cows, until just one kilometer to Daku village when the bandits suddenly emerged from the bush and opened fire on the truck, killing the MACBAN chairman and four others,” he said.

He gave the names of those killed as Saleh, Aliyu, Muhammadu and Saidu, saying the deceased had been buried according to Islamic rites.
