History Is Made! As First Nigerian To Feature On World Cup Soundtrack Is David 'Davido' Adeleke

For the first time ever a Nigerian is to feature on World Cup Sound track and that Nigerian is none other than Davido. We are set watch history being made.

Nigerian award-winning singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has been featured in the Qatar 2022 World Cup official theme song.

Davido alongside Trinidad Cardona and AISHA sang the 2022 World Cup soundtrack titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together).

Davido went on Twitter to say;

"I’m honoured to be featured on the Official @FIFAWorldCup 2022 Soundtrack,” Davido said on Twitter."


Hayya Hayya’ is one of the first projects of activation for the 2022 World Cup.

The official ceremony where teams are grouped is today and the singer will be performing live at the draw ceremony.

Come 21 November to 18 December 2022, the 2022 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar.
