These videos making the buzz on social media, unidentified Nigerian men were captured on camera while standing in front of presiding officers in polling units in Lagos State; the men were issuing verbal threats to fellow would-be voters

"If you no fit vote APC for here go your house, no body force you come here. Go house oooh! If I see you vote another party, I go come look am, if I see you vote another party, you go enter wahala ooooh! We no come joke for here. This territory wey you dey na APC oooh, go your house....." Said the man in the video.

"I repeat am again, any Igbo wey dem born well make he come vote for here," said a man in the video below.

In yet another video, a conversation was ongoing showcasing that the Labour Party logo was not captured on the ballot papers.

In the United States city of Nashville, Tennessee, three children and three adults have been killed at a Covenant School, a private Christian school for students aged three to eleven.                                         Image Credit: The Guardian  An ex-student of the school opened fire, in an attack which saw six people dying. The three pupils who died were all aged nine. The child victims have been named as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney. Breaking! BDC Operators Close Operations In Abuja - Over Dollar Scarcity

Bureau De Change operators have announced shut down of operations in Abuja as a result of unavailability of the dollars,  The Chairman of the association, Abdullahi Dauran, made the announcement on Wednesday. The chairman of the Association of Bureau De Change Abuja chapter, issued the directive to stop sales as the exchange rates in both the official and parallel markets have become unfavourable. Dauran attributed the closure to online business transactions and cryptocurrency. Echoblog spoke to Jamilu a BDC owner who also confirmed the news. The closure of business would take effect from Thursday, February 1, 2024. On Tuesday naira closed at an all-time low of N1,482 against the United States dollar on the official window. It stayed stable at N1,450/$ at the parallel market.
