Pele's daughter, Kely Nascimento, confirmed the news on Instagram, writing, “Everything we are is thanks to you. We love you infinitely. Rest in peace.” The three-time World Cup winner was lauded as a god-like figure in Brazil. Brazilians mourn the death of the soccer great on Thursday night, as fans paid tribute.  Iconic monuments in Brazil like the Christ the Redeemer and the Maracana stadium were lit up in honour of Pele, as they honour soccer's greatest star.  Rest on Pele!

The Oscar winner and Black Panther star, 39, debuted her relationship with Masekela, 51, she took to her Instagram page two days before Christmas to show off Selema Masekela. She posted a video of the couple taking part in a popular social media trend. The clip shows Lupita and Selema Masekela engaging in a TikTok challenge where they switched clothes, while they stood in a fixed position. She gushed over how they synced in the act by writing; “We just click!  @selema #thisismylove #nuffsaid” The couple posted the video at the same time on their respective Instagram pages.
